This is not an architectural project, rather an ongoing involvement as a founding board member, bringing an architectural and built environment skill set to a growing movement—Pocket City Farms.
Pocket City Farms is a not-for-profit association working to bring urban farms to our city’s unused spaces.
Local sustainable food production close to where the bulk of our population live, is integral in securing a healthy future for our communities and our planet.
This model of farming is multidimensional—whilst growing fresh, local, organic and healthy food is at the heart of the project, it also aims to make a significant impact through education and community building.
